FLIR History Wall: Interactive Media Display

Inspired by the Apples famous springboard app launcher in OSX this interactive media display showcases the historic milestone of FLIR. Using the recognizable “Iron Bow” thermal imaging gradient and LIDAR Scanners, the participant can control the timeline with their physical body. Each sensor projects a radial grid of IR laser sensing and maps the users positions and tracks them in 3d space. The data from multiple sensors is overlaid to ensure each participant is accurately tracked. AI and Computer vision algorithms parse the sensor data to provide unique IDs for each participant and allow for multiple simultaneous interactions.
